You want to create a long-term road map for your company. You want to set up a system. Do you want to be sustainable?
A damage assessment is needed. Try to answer 3 questions first:
1- Do you have a marketing team?
2- Otherwise. Can your sales team identify your ideal customer profile? Can you even define it?
3- Are employees generally aware of the vision and mission? What kind of comments do they bring?
If the answers are "3 No", your situation is not very encouraging.
If you continue like this, you may continue to tell people "I'm busy" in every conversation throughout your life. Since you have a system that depends on people (because you cannot be sustainable), you can continue to have problems with them. You can continue to ignore the fact that your company is one step closer to closure with each passing day. You may be disappointed because someone from your second-generation family has other goals. You can continue to grumble about how no one saw your efforts... Luckily, you needed a long-term road map and were ready to do a damage assessment.
On the other hand, what technology tools do you use? What about the 3 main functions of marketing? What is your logo? Is your website active? What is the employee cycle in your company? Do you produce? If you do, what about job security? Production? Supply? Accounting? Finance? After selling? Customer success? Research & Development? ...
These types of questions and topics are after the first 3 questions.
